Hotshot Teachers' Event

The first day of a two day workshop took place at Radio City Tower on Tuesday 1 November. Merseyside teachers attended a programme developed by Mando Group and Roy Leighton. Roy is involved in a number of ground breaking projects in schools around the country looking at creating learning environments for all.

The aim of the workshop is to help teachers support students in enterprise education by appreciating their own strengths and weaknesses as well as having the appreciation for the individual learning and enterprise skills of the students, some of whom attended parts of the students' Hotshots programme.

The teachers will meet up again in December having had a month to look at evolving enterprise in practical, innovative and informed ways. Two individual days were developed to help create a network of support within the group through the sharing of ideas, experiences and best practise.
